Our company can provide ABA based services to our clients across school, home, and community settings, depending on the client’s needs and that of their caregivers. If services are to be provided through BEST Behavior Therapy, an (FBA) functional behavior analysis would be conducted by a trained professional in the field of behavior analysis and an individualized treatment plan will be created to address the client’s individual behavioral needs and skills deficits. Each and every program that is created is custom tailored to meet each child’s unique needs and individual characteristics. Applied Behavior Analysis is the process of systematically applying interventions based upon the principles of learning theory to improve socially significant behaviors to a meaningful degree, and to demonstrate that the interventions employed are responsible for the improvement in behavior. (Baer, Wolf & Risley, 1968).
BEST Behavior Therapy provides ABA based services that adhere to the basic characteristics and standards of the BACB. Our Behavior Therapists have extensive and continues appropriate training in ABA. Our Behavior Therapists have experience and will implement ABA based programs and strategies appropriately in accordance to each individual client’s treatment plan. BEST Behavior Therapy’s Behavior Therapists will engage, involve and will assist the client’s parents and caretakers in goal setting, assessment, interventions and plan implementation. Our Behavior Therapists will define goals and behaviors of concern for children in observable and measurable terms and conduct a thorough assessment in order to identify antecedents and consequences affecting the child’s behavior.
BEST Behavior Therapy will design individualized behavioral intervention plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis that include strategies and skills to prevent behavior problems and prompt positive behaviors. Best Behavior Therapy will assist in teaching the client appropriate replacement skills for maladaptive behaviors and appropriate life coping skills to assist with everyday life issues and situations. The client’s treatment team will provide specific written recommendations and trainings, allowing parents and caretakers to apply strategies and techniques under the circumstances in which they are needed. Parents and caretakers will be trained to manage consequences and reactions to behavior. The client’s treatment team will evaluate the client’s progress on a regular basis using objective measures and criteria. The treatment team will also report back to the parents and caretakers on a regular basis.

Knowledgeable, caring, firm, experienced, energetic, enthusiastic and good. These are just some of the things that come to mind when I think about BEST Behavior Therapy. I was having trouble with my son's school and his IEP's. The school would not give my son the services he needed and deserved.
BEST Behavior Therapy sent their advocate with me to my son's next IEP and my son was granted all of the services I was asking for and was also granted home schooling with a teacher from the school district coming to our home if my son is out sick for more than 3 consecutive days because of his illnesses.
